Direct-drive coreless motor
Technics has been obsessive about the engineering details on the Direct-drive coreless motor. That motor is designed to avoid issues such as clogging and the speed control helps with stability and accuracy. There is simply nothing that flows as smoothly as a Technics.
Upgradeability
That detachable headshell makes the task of fitting and swapping cartridges so much easier. Just twist the collar to unlock the headshell, and off it comes.
And if you wish to upgrade cables, the detachable RCA, ground, and power cables allows for upgrades.
