How to build the world's best $500 turntable?

It was not easy, especially when it comes to price/performance and the materials used for production:

-We chose an 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm with a carbon-reinforced stiff headshell and a pre-installed Pick It MM E cartridge.– the rest uses cheap plastic.

-We use a 60€ cartridge – the rest uses 30€ or even lesser cartridges
-We use a heavy solid plinth: Built with no hollow cavities or cheap plastic covers to prevent unwanted vibrations and acoustic feedback – the rest has lightweight cheap plastic or particle board chassis with plastic veneers, a lot of air enclosure.

We use a Die-Cast Aluminum Platter: Features a heavy-mass, TPE-damped aluminum platter for stable rotation and speed consistency

Pure Analog Focus: Leaves out digital extras like Bluetooth or USB to direct the budget entirely into mechanical precision

Plug-and-Play Simplicity: Arrives with tracking force and anti-skating pre-adjusted at the factory with no complicated user setup required.
