Have you heard the difference AudioQuest power can make?
While this might seem surprising, it makes good sense: After all, power is fundamental to the performance and protection of any audio/video system. Whether we're discussing a desktop powered-speaker system, two-channel audio system, or multi-channel home theater, all components within the system benefit from high-performance power conditioning. Good power — clean, uncompressed, AudioQuest power — positively impacts all A/V components.
- Our rack-mountable PowerQuest 303, 505, and 707 power conditioners include detachable AudioQuest power cables and 2RU rack ears, making setup quick and easy.
- Direction-Controlled AC power cables maximize RF-noise dissipation for optimal performance.
Mains power is noisy - trust Audioquest to dissapate harmful noise
The new PowerQuests address noise linearly to provide class-leading, wide-bandwidth noise reduction (better than -22dB). Who doesn’t want cleaner, quieter power.
The PQ-707’s Linear Noise-Dissipation comprises Differential-Mode filtering (30kHz–1GHz), which addresses asymmetrical noise already present on the utility line or backwashed via electronic appliances and components.
The PQ-707 also has Common-Mode filtering (30kHz–100MHz) to address symmetrical noise, which is typically picked up by the AC Line, Neutral, and Ground leads.

Non-sacrificial surge protection keeps protecting
Most power centers contain a protection device that is effective only once when a catastrophic power surge happens. The Audio Quest PQ505's protection works every time. Nothing to damage with repeated 6000V/3000A input surge tests, which is the maximum that can survive a building’s AC electrical panel.
Transient Power Correction improves your amplifiers impact response
With only 15 amps available in the wall outlet, Audioquest's transient Power Correction provides a current reservoir of up to 45 amps peak on-demand power for any amplifier (up to 25mS), supplying the low-impedance current the amp needs to produce thrilling dynamic contrasts, bass extension, and control.
Extreme Voltage Shutdown
If more than 140VAC is present on the incoming AC line for more than a quarter of a second, the circuit will instantly open a high-current relay that will disengage the AC power from all the PowerQuest AC outlets, activating the red front-panel LED “Overvoltage Protection” warning indicator. Once the event has passed, or the building wiring fault has been corrected, the circuit will automatically re-engage.
Reviews
CE Pro’s Robert Archer praised the PQ-707's performance and protection, noting, “These products should deliver everything consumers want and expect from the AudioQuest brand.”
The PQ-707 even saved Bob’s system from a catastrophic surge!
"in addition to its surge protection and power conditioning capabilities, I also think the unit provides value to users. Power conditioners/surge protectors can be expensive, and some of the audiophile market products are insanely expensive. The PQ-707 is however priced quite reasonably compared to its competition"
