The network power supply section employs a large linear power supply that is completely separated from the audio power supply. Each network component is powered directly via its own independent power line, separated from the transformer windings. By eliminating noise-generating switching elements, the N-05XE achieves a smooth, vinyl-like sound with rich detail and natural musical flow

SFP Port

The Esoteric Network Engine G4 is equipped with a built-in network switch function and has two network interfaces: an Ethernet RJ45 connector and an SFP port.
By connecting the N-05XE to an external network switch using an SFP module and fiber-optic cable, the signal can be isolated from network-borne noise, resulting in unparalleled playback purity.
