The Clearaudio Stradivari cartridge has become a heavy hitting darling among the high end audio press. It is a cartridge that just fits into the class A category of cartridges priced under 5000 dollars.

1 - Linearity and Dynamic Range

We use 8 magnets of the strongest structure today - that generate a totally homogeneous magnetic field. Never ever done before. The efficiency (dynamics) is increased up to 30% more compared to conventional applications

2 - Lowest Distortion

Two separate micro goldcoils are then directly mounted at the cantilever and positioned to the front and rear sides of the pivot point, working in the same manner as an inside, homogeneous magnetic field. This results in extremely good linearity and the lowest distortion, with a dynamic range of up to 100 db.

3 - Freedom from Resonance

The low-mass Stradivari has a body of aged ebony. Stradivari is synonymous with the absolute master class of creating musical instruments. Our moving-coil cartridge that is named after the maestrissimo allows a 90dB dynamic range from vinyl. Long-stored old ebony wood provides both resistance against resonances and an excellent well-balanced sound.
