Estelon joins the elite ranks of the world's best loudspeakers.
"... the loudspeakers reproduce space and populate that space with believable musical objects.” Andrew Quint, The Absolute Sound
Find out why Estelon continues to impress and mystify seasoned audio reviewers and why so many new customers have invested in their products during the past couple of years. Estelon has created quite a following in North America, and not only with audiophiles.
Sealed Box Concept
Our Estelon YB Mk II loudspeakers use a sealed box concept, which is more controlled compared to the bass reflex concept and is less demanding regarding the positioning requirements in a room. The bass is nimble, accurate, and with an authentic timbre.
Rock Solid Enclosure
Our engineering took many years of research and testing to find the right material that would allow the highest quality of cabinet and construction for the loudspeaker’s acoustically engineered complex shape. We developed a proprietary marble-based composite material and special molding technology to be able to make cabinets with such advanced surface geometry, inside and out. The cabinet is extremely rigid, highly dense, resonant-free, and with exceptional internal dampening and acoustical control.
Hi-end Speaker Drive Units
We use a beryllium tweeter, because even though beryllium is a metal and is rigid, it is as light as air, so high frequency sounds are reproduced with finely layered inner detail.
We chose the Scanspeak driver as the midrange unit just because some consider this to be the world's finest when it comes to voice and instrument reproduction.
Low frequencies are courtesy of a Danish Seas bass unit - highly regarded for nuanced bass reproduction
"I began this review by musing about the Estelon YBs’ soundstaging -- about how they projected an image. Now I’m drawn back to tell you more about how this speaker combined its varied talents -- that deep, tight, slightly rich bass; that expressive midrange; that unfatiguing, well-controlled treble -- into an extremely satisfying musical whole.
The Estelon YB has many talents, and it’s rare for a speaker to pass through my room and provide me with so many facets to explore. Highly recommended"
